Have flown this route many times due to convenience of AC airport. We need wheelchair assistance, and attendants are sorely lacking at AC. Long wait for attendant, always. TSA usually good and accommodating.
Airport facilities average, and more client-friendly than NY area and FLL airports.
New Spirit planes are AWFUL..,more seats, non-reclining, crammed into same space. Fewer "big front seats' on new planes. Opt for older equipment if you can. If there were other non-stop choices out of AC, would not take Spirit anymore.

The Atlantic City airport building needs an overhaul. I thought we were in steerage class or at a bus terminal. Long check-in lines, lousy seats in the waiting area, a very noisy environment and terrible food. The good thing about the airport was very good parking nearby. The flight was excellent. We had a 3 month old A320 plane. Even though it was full the service was excellent.

Very basic. Seats don't recline at all. No drinks. Small bag of pretzels. Food available, charged to a credit card.
New plane. Very cold. Smooth flight.
