IT WAS A GREAT FLIGHT. Left Atlanta promptly(unusual) and was in Sarasota in less than an hour. It was so smooth that the last half hour felt like we were just gliding thru the air,until landing. I've never had such a flight!!WE flew so low that we saw the coastline so clesrly......fun.

When the flight is pretty much on schedule, I guess you can't ask for much more except for no lost luggage. I did a carry-on this trip and it went very smoothly. My last trip on Delta (in July to LIT) was okay except for the baggage taking 45 minutes to get from the plane to the carousel for pick-up in ATL.

Love avoiding road construction & south Georgia speed traps with the low cost 1 hr flights from Atlanta (ATL) to Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ). I fly this route about once a month. Always on time. Return flights in summer may experience thunderstorm delays & SRQ removed all cable TVs except in the leased restaurant / bar space, so if you want to catch a sports event, run to the bar FAST!
