If you’re having trouble finding travel times that best work for your schedule. Try buying two separate one-way tickets and creating a custom itinerary amongst the three airlines offering this price point.
Last week American Airlines announced its new seasonal schedule for spring and summer of 2020, and some new destinations are popping up on the airline’s network. American is shifting its focus to several new Central and Eastern European countries next year, and this new route linking Chicago-O’Hare and Budapest, Hungary is starting off with a friendly introductory fare of $577 roundtrip. Dates are limited at this price, but you’ll have the best luck searching for departures in early and mid-May 2020. I found seats available departing ORD on Monday, May 11, with a return flight from BUD on Wednesday, May 20, 2020.
Here’s another new route being added to American Airlines route map and currently the carrier’s only nonstop option to Africa. Fly nonstop from Philadelphia to Casablanca for $611 roundtrip when this route begins operations in June 2020. This is around the same time that Royal Air Maroc will be joining the Oneworld alliance, opening up a more extensive network of flight options around North Africa and Europe. Departures from the U.S. will operate on Monday, Thursday, and Saturday, with returns from Morocco available the following days, Tuesday, Friday, and Sundays from June through the end of the booking calendar. Searching AA.com, I found seats departing PHL on Monday, June 15, and returning from CMN on Friday, June 26, 2020. Book early because this is sure to be a popular route and with limited service, seats may start to creep up in price, especially for the summer holiday season.
Southwest's latest sale is still going strong, and with over 3,500 routes marked down, there is undoubtedly a deal in store for you. Like this sale fare departing Baltimore to New Orleans for $150 roundtrip, nonstop, through mid-December. Seats at this price are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays from early September through December 18, 2019. A reminder that Southwest fares can only be purchased on Southwest.com, where I found seats departing BWI on Wednesday, September 25, and returning from MSY on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Other dates are widely available, but this sale ends on Thursday so you’ll need to start planning your Big Easy escape on the hurry.
It’s always great to start off the week with an amazing unadvertised sale, and Japan is the spot that's seeing some phenomenal price cuts from multiple airports across America. Here's one of the best deals we’ve seen in awhile departing Boston. Fly from Logan to either Tokyo-Narita or Tokyo-Haneda for only $569 roundtrip. Long-haul segments are operated by ANA while the connecting flights from United open up in starting in late September through November then again from mid-January through May 2020. As an example, I found seats available departing BOS on Monday, November 4, and returning from HND on Tuesday, November 18, 2019. As with all unadvertised sale, it may disappear at any time, so if traveling to Tokyo has been on your to-do list, then you'll want to book this deal now.

Flights at this price are available most days except for Sunday with a travel window starting in September through April 2020. However, March and April travel is limited to Tuesday and Wednesdays only. You may also see American price matching on some dates, but their inventory is pretty hit-and-miss, so you’ll have the most luck on Delta. As an example, I was able to see seats available leaving LAX on Wednesday, September 18, with a return segment from DEN on Monday, September 23, 2019. Peak holiday dates in November and December unavailable.

As an example, I found seats on Singapore departing JFK on Tuesday, May 18, and returning from FRA on Thursday, May 28, 2020, at this price point. One piece of checked luggage included!
