When tickets to Spain are priced lower than most cross-country flights, it’s our job to let you know. Here’s the latest insanely cheap deal to pop up to Europe, fly nonstop from New York-JFK to Madrid, Spain for $226 roundtrip this fall on Delta. Fares for this deal can be found on select travel days starting in October through April 2020. As you'd expect, seats are selling out quickly, so inventory is spotty in many months, your best bet is searching in early next year for available seats. However, searching Delta's site, I found seats in the fall departing JFK on Thursday, October 17, with a return segment back from MAD on Thursday, October 24, 2019.
With steady competition on this top route, tickets between London and San Francisco can dip pretty low from time to time. This fare for $423 roundtrip is an excellent deal mostly due to its wide-open availability, with dates in late August even bookable at this price point. Unfortunately, they book into basic economy, meaning only carry-on baggage is allowed, but you'll be hard pressed to find a better offer during August or September. Searching United, I found tickets at this price leaving SFO on Monday, August 19, and returning from LHR on Thursday, August 29, 2019. Other departure times are available daily except on Saturdays into April of 2020. A Saturday night stay is required and peak holiday dates are blacked out.
Save on Scandinavia with this flight deal from Finnair. Travel from Los Angeles to Stockholm, Sweden for $400 roundtrip starting this October. Flights are available on select Sunday through Thursdays from October 1 through the end of the booking calendar in April. Dates in September can be purchased for around $30 more, which is still a steal for that travel window. These flights operate on Finnair’s new A350 aircraft so you'll be guaranteed a smooth ride along the way to Sweden. Flights are the easiest to book using partner British Airway's website, where I found seats available departing LAX on Sunday, November 10, and returning from ARN on Monday, November 18, 2019. Other dates are widely available in that range with only the peak holiday period unavailable at this price.
Southwest airlines celebrated their 48th birthday last week, but the party still isn’t over with the carrier’s latest 4-day sale. Here’s a good deal from that sale connecting two major East Coast airports, fly nonstop from Baltimore to Boston for $118 roundtrip. Seats at this price can be found on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays between early September and December 18, 2019. Saturday dates are selling out quickly so you'll have the best luck with the midweek departure days. I was able to find an itinerary in September for this price departing BWI on Wednesday, September 4 and returning from BOS on Saturday, September 7, 2019. As always two bags fly free on Southwest so pack along everything you think you might need to take with you on your trip up to Baahston.
Fly nonstop from Dallas-Love Field to Los Angeles for just $157 roundtrip through December 11, 2019. Tickets at this price can be found on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays but other days of the week are scattered around too. This is an Alaska “saver” fare, which will only allow for a personal item and standard carry-on bag on board. If you want to bump up to a Main Cabin fare, you’ll find it for $187 roundtrip on select dates in the same time window. On Alaska's site, I was able to find seats at this price departing DAL on Saturday, September 7 and returning from LAX on Wednesday, September 11, 2019. Keep in mind this fare also works in reverse for those in LA looking to head to the Big D.
With some of the highest airport taxes in the Caribbean, flights to Jamaica can get pretty pricey. So when we see a good deal like this one from Miami to Montego Bay for $277 roundtrip, we have to post it. Fares at this price are valid for travel starting in late August through early February 2020. Travel is available on most days; however, weekend dates are becoming scarce. On AA.com, I was able to find an itinerary at this price departing MIA on Monday, November 4 and returning from MBJ on Friday, November 15, 2019. If you're flexible, you should be able to find something that will work with your travel plans.
Hop on a JetBlue or Delta flight from Boston to Tampa this August or September and start your snowbird season early. Roundtrip tickets on this route are only $117, and one-ways can be purchased for half the price at $59. Flights at this price are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from August 20 through the end of September. As an example, I found seats departing BOS on Wednesday, September 18, and returning from TPA on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. For travelers in Tampa that want to swap Gulf beaches for Cape ones, this fare also works in reverse for the same price.
Experience some of the world’s bluest beaches, flavorful food, and laid-back island vibe in the picturesque Philippines on the world’s best airline for 2019, Qatar Airways. Fly from Chicago-O’Hare to Clark, Philippines for $649 roundtrip on select Sundays through Thursdays between late October and April 2020. Searching Qatar’s site, I found flights leaving ORD on Monday, October 28 and returning from CRK on Monday, November 11, 2019. That will give you ample time to enjoy all that the island has to offer and tone up your tan before heading into the winter months.
Here’s an amazing deal still available for those who haven’t gotten around to booking their summer holiday yet. Fly nonstop from Washington DC-National to Charleston, South Carolina for just $117 roundtrip. If you want to travel outside of summer, you're in luck too as this fare is available through February 12, 2020. Departures are only available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at this price, but availability is easy to find. As an example, searching on JetBlue, I found a sample itinerary departing DCA on Tuesday, July 23, with a return leg from CHS on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Here’s another deal from Delta this Monday, fly nonstop from Cincinnati to Phoenix for $157 roundtrip this fall. Delta is going head-to-head with low-cost-carrier Frontier on this route and has dropped its prices match. Departures are valid on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting in early November with returns available through mid-December, a perfect time to head to Arizona for a little dose of vitamin D. As an example, I found seats departing CVG on Tuesday, November 12, and returning from PHX on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. Thanksgiving dates blacked out.
