Even though Southwest's birthday was last week, it looks like the Texas-based carrier still wants to keep the party popping.

This latest sale is out a day earlier than usually giving flyers 4-days to pick from the over 3,400 routes that are seeing price drops! Fares for this late summer and fall nationwide sale are starting as low as $49 one-way with roundtrip tickets available for $98+.

Sale fares are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays starting on September 3 through December 18, 2019.

Baggage

Sale fares include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags up to 50lbs/23kg each.

Seat Assignments

Southwest has an open seating policy, which means there are no assigned seats and you'll get to choose your seat during boarding. The order of boarding is determined by the time of check-in, so check-in exactly 24 hours before departure or pay for priority boarding for a better choice of seat.

Example Booking

Searching Southwest's website, I found seats departing Atlanta ATL on Wednesday, September 25, with a return flight from Nashville BNA on Saturday, September 28, 2019, for $98 roundtrip.
