Looking for a cheap flight to Florida this year? Fly nonstop from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale for $105 roundtrip on JetBlue or Delta. If you're in South Florida and want to head north to Hotlanta, this fare also works from Ft. Lauderdale to Atlanta. Weekend travel is available!

Travel Availability

Travel is widely available on Delta from May through mid-November. We've even spotted a few weekend travel dates (departing Friday, returning Sunday or Monday) available for late summer and fall travel.

I found a weekend trip departing Atlanta ATL on Friday, August 23, returning from Ft. Lauderdale FLL on Monday, August 26.

JetBlue is selling tickets at this price for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and a few select Saturdays from May through early October.

Baggage

This fare includes a carry-on bag plus one personal item. A checked bag costs $30 each way.

Seat Assignments

On Delta's Basic Economy fare, seats will be assigned at random upon check-in for this price. Jetblue's fare includes standard advanced seat selection.

Alternate Fares

Delta's Main Cabin Economy fare is only $30 more roundtrip, which comes to $135. This will include advanced seat assignments and allows ticket changes/upgrades for a fee. A checked bag costs the same $30 each way.

If you want free checked bags, Southwest has a similar fare of $106 roundtrip with limited availability for travel from late August through October. Spirit is also selling a similar fare with excellent availability, but beware of its many fees.

If you'd rather fly to Miami, American and Delta are selling the same fare from Atlanta to Miami for $105 roundtrip, though weekend travel dates will be more. Frontier has slightly lower fares for spring travel, but take its fees into consideration.
