Do you get frustrated when the deals you see are only available for mid-week travel?

You're not alone. A recent survey of Airfarewatchdog users revealed that 57% would prefer to take multiple long weekend trips instead of one long vacation over the course of a year.

With that in mind, we've made it easier to search for the best available deals on the days you can actually travel.

Find Weekend Travel Deals

Sure, traveling on Tuesdays and Wednesdays will usually be cheaper than flying from Friday to Sunday, but if this means you have to take extra days off of work, it may not be worth the savings. If you simply want to get away for a weekend trip, there's a new way to find airfare deals.

We've been hard at work creating an easy way to search only for weekend travel deals. The Weekender allows you to enter your departure city and will generate weekend flight deals to nearby popular destinations, maximizing your time in that destination. If you have somewhere particular in mind, you can enter specific routes as well.

How does it work? Search for 2-5 day trips for upcoming weekends or weekends departing in the next few months, departing Thursday or Friday, and returning Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. This means you'll likely only have to take one day off of work to enjoy a long weekend away from home. Of course, the more flexible you are with travel dates, the better prices you'll find. The Weekender focuses on shorter flights with one stop or less, but you can enter any city you like to check weekend deals.

This new tool will find all the best deals, including unadvertised sales. Delta often releases an advertised weekend travel sale, but those fares aren't always the best deals around. We often spot better prices for last minute or upcoming weekend travel that the airlines don't advertise.

Do you need a hotel with your flight? No worries! You can easily choose to add a hotel to your trip and be on your way to a weekend getaway in no time.

Staying with friends or family? just click on the "see this flight" button to book your flight and enjoy your home away from home.

Have a look and see what kind of deals are out there for your weekend travel plans.
