Fayetteville - Denver $97 Roundtrip for Summer Travel

Fresh off this week's announcement that ultra-low-cost carrier Frontier will begin to fly this route starting this summer, United has drastically lowered its fares to compete. Fly nonstop on United from Fayetteville, Arkansas to Denver for $97 roundtrip. Since flights are normally priced around $350 roundtrip on this short hop, this is a welcome change for those in Northwest Arkansas who don't want to drive to Kansas City or Dallas for a cheap flight.

I found seats departing Fayetteville XNA on Tuesday, July 9, returning from Denver DEN on Sunday, July 14. Other dates are available for travel on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, for peak summer travel from late June through early August. It is a Basic Economy fare, but you'll find standard Economy fares are over $200 more so it may be best to deal with the restrictions. United's Basic Economy only includes a small personal item, but you can pay $30 each way for a checked bag if you can't travel that light. Denver - Minneapolis $98 Roundtrip for Spring/Fall Travel

Fly nonstop from Denver to Minneapolis for $98 roundtrip on Southwest. With so many airlines flying this route nonstop, including Delta, United, Spirit, and Frontier, there are many options for a cheap flight. Although you'll find similar (and even lower) fares on some of these other carriers, Southwest's two free checked bags and no change fee policy make it my top choice.

I found seats departing Denver DEN on Friday, May 3, returning from Minneapolis MSP on Tuesday, May 7. Southwest has other scattered dates available for travel in April, May, and October. You'll find even more availability on other carriers, but beware of any extra fees.

Los Angeles - Houston $105 Roundtrip for Spring/Summer/Fall Travel

Washington D.C. - San Jose, Costa Rica $143 Roundtrip for Fall Travel

 

We love the amazing fares that show up whenever Volaris has its "flights on the fly" sale. Included in this sale, fly from Washington D.C. to San Jose, Costa Rica for $143 roundtrip. Travel on a few scattered dates in September and October. Flights to Costa Rica are available on Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Return to Washington D.C. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

I found this price available departing Washington D.C. on Sunday, October 6, returning from San Jose SJO on Wednesday, October 16. Volaris basic fares include two full-size carry-on bags with a total combined weight limit of 22 lbs. You can add extra weight to your carry-on bags for $24 each way or a checked bag for $38 each way, if necessary.

Usually, if you see a cheap flight from Phoenix to Europe, it requires a connection. Thanks to Condor, you can fly nonstop from Phoenix to Frankfurt for $480 roundtrip this spring. Flights for this price are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, from May 1 through May 15. I found a ticket departing Phoenix PHX on Monday, May 6, returning from Frankfurt FRA on Monday, May 13. This Economy Light price only includes a carry-on bag weighing up to 13 lbs. plus a small personal item. A checked bag costs $75 each way. If you need to check a bag, it's cheaper to book a standard Economy fare for $590 roundtrip, which includes one checked bag.

Newark - Singapore $582 Roundtrip for Fall/Winter Travel

You could fly the longest route in the world nonstop on Singapore Airlines for over $1000 roundtrip or you could choose to take a short break on this long journey and fly for nearly half price from Newark to Singapore for $582 roundtrip on United. Easily find this price for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from September through the end of the booking schedule in March 2020, excluding peak holiday travel in late December and early January. There is a maximum stay of 1-month allowed to get this price. I found seats departing Newark EWR on Thursday, September 5, returning from Singapore SIN on Thursday, September 19.

Buffalo - Sydney $733 Roundtrip for Spring/Summer/Fall Travel

And finally, we're here to tell you about an amazing nationwide sale to Australia. Fly from large and small airports across the U.S. such as from Buffalo to Sydney for $733 roundtrip on Delta, American, or United. Travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, throughout the year departing through early December.
