Southwest’s latest nationwide sale has some great deals out there for those looking to save some scratch on spring travel. Take this one for example; fly nonstop from Nashville to Chicago-Midway for $98 roundtrip through the middle of April. Since Southwest flights can only be purchased directly with the airline, I went to Southwest.com, to find this fantastic fare leaving BNA on Wednesday, April 8, with returns from MDW open on Monday, April 13, 2020. Other dates are widely available, but this nationwide sale ends this Thursday, so you'll need to start planning your Chi-town city break on the double.
If the rainy days are starting to soak up your Seattle winter, ship on down to sunny Arizona with this deal from Alaska, American, and Delta Air Lines. Nonstop flights from Seattle to Phoenix are marked down to $117 roundtrip, with departures valid midweek between mid-February and early March. As an example, searching Alaska's website, I found a departing itinerary leaving SEA on Tuesday, February 25, and returning from PHX on Saturday, February 29, 2020. If you're having trouble finding times that work for your travel schedule, try purchasing two separate one-ways amongst separate carriers.
While London-Heathrow gets lots of attention for flight searches, you're missing out if you're not including London's second-largest airport when looking for airfare steals. Take this deal from Norwegian Air's latest European sale as an example. Fly nonstop from Chicago-O’Hare to London-Gatwick for $365 roundtrip on scattered dates in September and October. Searching Norwegian’s site, I found seats departing ORD on Sunday, September 27, and returning from LGW on Friday, October 2, 2020. This fare books into the Low Fare fare bucket, meaning only carry-on luggage is allowed at this price.
In my opinion, shoulder season is the best time to visit Spain, and with a fare deal this crazy low – I think you'll agree. Avoid the summer swell and save big with this fare between San Francisco and Barcelona for $286 roundtrip on LEVEL. Departures on the low-cost-carrier are 30% off during its latest sale valid through the end of tomorrow, January 23, 2020, with tickets at this price found on select Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays through April. As an example, I found seats available departing SFO on Wednesday, March 19, with a return leg from BCN on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. Book directly on LEVEL’s website to get this price listed in USD, but to save even more by paying in Euros, which should be around €245. Converting to roughly $272. Just remember to pay with a credit card that won't charge a foreign transaction fee to get this reduced rate.
Can you handle the longest domestic flight in the country? If so, you’ll be rewarded with sunny skies and beautiful beaches instead of a snowy walkway this winter. Breath in some Pacific island air with this sale fare between Boston and Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines for $538 roundtrip. Travel in February and March is available on select Monday, Tuesdays, and Thursdays if you're flexible with dates. As an example, I found tickets on this long-haul leaving Logan on Monday, February 10 and returning from HNL on Monday, February 17, 2020.
Skip town to avoid that winter wind and enjoy some island time by escaping to sunny San Juan next month. A handful of last-minute itineraries from Newark are bookable for just $107 roundtrip through March 6, 2020, on United. Searching United’s site, I found seats available leaving EWR on Saturday, February 15, with a return leg from SJU departing on Saturday, February 15, 2020. One-way flights are available for $53, and JetBlue is offering roundtrip flights for about $30 more in the same travel period if you’re looking for another option.
Here’s another great deal from the NYC area to the Caribbean, but this time around on JetBlue, fly from JFK to Grenada for only $310 roundtrip on select days this spring. Flights are available daily, but you'll need to pack up your sandals and swimsuit and takeoff in early May or June for this rate. For a set of sample dates, I was found seats at this price departing JFK on Saturday, May 30, and returning from GND on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
Get your meat and Malbec fix when you tango your way down to beautiful Buenos Aires with this phenomenal price drop on Copa Airlines. Fly from the US capital to Argentina’s for only $717 roundtrip linking up DC and BA at the cheapest rates we’ve seen in quite some time. Daily flights open up in late March with return flights available through the end of May. Using Copa’s site, I found an itinerary departing IAD on Friday, May 15, and returning from EZE on Sunday, May 24, 2020. A Saturday night or a three-day stay is required.
Everything is greener in the springtime, especially on the Emerald Isle. So, there’s no better time than now to take up Aer Lingus’ latest offerings on nonstop flights from Hartford to Dublin for $466 roundtrip. As an example, I found seats at this price departing BDL on Tuesday, May 5, and returning from DUB on Sunday, May 10, 2020. This price is for Aer Lingus's Saver fare, which only includes cabin baggage. If you require a checked bag, you can upgrade to the Smart fare category for $60 more each way. If you're four-leaf lucky and looking for a last-minute trip, you might be able to find dates before April for a smidge cheaper.
Put the sun in Sun Country by flying nonstop from Portland to Sin City for $78 roundtrip this winter. Roll the dice on Monday and Thursday departures between February 2 and March 5, 2020, to try and hit the jackpot with this fare. Searching Sun Country’s site, I saw seats departing PDX on Monday, February 10, and returning from LAS on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Be aware; only one small personal item is included. You’ll have to pay $30 each way for a carry-on or checked bag, but after you hit big with triple 7's, you won't worry about that so much.
