The expansion continues! Canadian ultra-low-cost carrier Swoop has announced new nonstop flights from Hamilton to 3 brand new cites. Starting in late June, look for new cheap flights to/from Charlottetown, Moncton, and St. John's. Intro fares start from $157 CAD roundtrip.
This is great news for Canadians in the greater Toronto area looking to explore Newfoundland, New Brunswick, or Prince Edward Island. And if you live in the Buffalo or Rochester areas of Western New York, it may be worth the drive to Hamilton in order to save on a cheap nonstop flight.
New Nonstop Swoop Flights to/from Charlottetown, Moncton, and St. Johns
All of the new routes begin service in late June 2020. One daily flight between Hamilton (YHM) and St. John's (YYT) starts June 23, 2020. The Moncton (YQM) route will fly 5 times per week, on Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, beginning June 24; and the Charlottetown (YYG) route operates 3 times per week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, starting June 27, 2020.
None of the routes currently have nonstop service from Hamilton Airport (YHM) but you may see Air Canada or WestJet start to drop prices from nearby Toronto-Pearson Airport (YYZ) and Porter may respond with lower fares from nearby Toronto-Bishop Airport (YTZ).
