I found this price departing Minneapolis MSP on Canada Day, Wednesday, July 1, returning from Vancouver YVR on Saturday, July 4, for Independence Day. Pack super light for this price or add a larger bag for $30 each way.

Chicago - Punta Cana $261 Roundtrip for Winter Travel
Fly nonstop from Chicago to Punta Cana for $261 roundtrip on United. This nonstop fare can be found traveling south on a few Mondays and Tuesdays in January/February and returning northbound on a Wednesday or Thursday.
