Floridians might be familiar with the Panama City in their home state but here's a chance to check out the Panamanian one on the cheap. Fly from either Orlando or Ft. Lauderdale to Panama City, Panama for $199 roundtrip on Copa Airlines this spring.

Travel Availability

As an example, I found seats departing Orlando MCO on Wednesday, May 8, with a return leg from Panama City PTY on Wednesday, May 15, 2019.

Depending on departure airport travel days will vary but for the most part fares at this price open up in mid-April through May 22 for Ft. Lauderdale departures. Orlando flyers have a wider array of travel months to pick from, but dates are scattered. The best way to find fares at this price is the old tried and tested method of plugging in potential travel days on the Copa website and see what appears. Many third-party sites like Google Flights and Kayak will display this fare at a higher rate.

Baggage

This fare includes a carry-on bag, a personal item, and one free checked bag up to 50lbs/23kg.

Seat Assignments

Standard advanced seat selection is included in this price.

Alternate Fares

For Ft. Lauderdale departures Spirit Airlines is offering this city pairing for $177 roundtrip. However, their fees and baggage allowance you'll almost always come out better with the Copa fare. Spirit's departure times at this price point aren't very practical either and are often in the wee hours of the morning or midnight.
