Starting in July, Frontier Airlines will be bringing some much-needed competition to this popular route. Fly nonstop between Charlotte and Las Vegas for $136 roundtrip. Intro fares are valid for purchase through March 31, 2019, and are available for peak summer travel. For those in Sin City, the same price is available from Las Vegas to Charlotte.
Frontier Adds New Nonstop Flights Between Charlotte and Las Vegas
New daily nonstop service on Frontier Airlines between Charlotte Las Vegas begins July 10, 2019. Currently, only American Airlines flies nonstop between these two cities and fares have remained high. Look for American Airlines to eventually compete on price with Frontier.
I found seats departing Charlotte CLT on Saturday, July 13, returning from Las Vegas LAS on Tuesday, July 16.
This intro fare is available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, from July 10 through November 13, 2019. Intro fares are available for purchase through March 31, 2019.
This fare includes only one small personal item. Checked bag fees start at $30 each way when purchased during the initial booking. Larger carry-on bag fees start at $35 each way.
If you want to avoid all extra fees, read How to Pack in Just a Personal Item Sized Bag.
Seats will be assigned at random upon check-in for these prices. You may pay a fee to choose a specific seat.
Discount Den member fares are $20 less. Membership costs $59.99/year and comes with a few other perks. Frontier also offers the Works bundle, which can be added to any flight during initial booking. It includes a standard carry-on bag plus a personal item, one free checked bag, seat selection (including stretch seating), priority boarding, flight flexibility, and refundability. This is a value if you want all of these amenities, but chances are you can get away with just adding what you need a la carte for cheaper.
