Frontier has been busy adding new routes in 2019. In total, Frontier has announced 44 new routes for 2019. Just yesterday, new nonstop flights from Denver to Boston for $157 roundtrip were announced. Daily service begins April 30, 2019, and this intro fare is valid for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, through mid-June. I found seats departing Denver DEN on the inaugural flight, Tuesday, April 30, returning from Boston BOS on Saturday, May 4. This price only includes a small personal item. Checked bag fees start at $25 each way when purchased during booking. A larger carry-on bag fee starts at $30 each way. Book quickly! This intro fare is advertised to expire tonight.

New Orleans - Los Angeles $161 Roundtrip for Winter/Spring Travel
If you're a Saints fan that is still upset about that blown call in the NFC Championship, why not fly to LA and tell Rams fans how you really feel. United's Basic Economy fare is the most restrictive so I would recommend flying either Alaska or American. New York - Seattle $197 Roundtrip for Winter Travel
Another amazing fare for a trip across the country. Fly nonstop from New York to Seattle for $197 roundtrip on Alaska, American, Delta, or JetBlue. You'll find the best availability in February, though there are also a few scattered dates in early March and late April/early May. Edmonton - Orlando $318 CAD ($239 USD) Roundtrip for Spring/Fall Travel
Swoop, an ultra-low-cost carrier from Canada, announced six new routes this week. The longest flight in the new additions is nonstop service from Edmonton to Orlando for $318 CAD roundtrip ($239 USD). New nonstop service begins June 1, 2019, and operates on Saturdays only. The intro fare is valid for travel in June and September and is available for purchase through tomorrow night, January 24, 2019. This price only includes a small personal item. Adding a carry-on bag or a checked bag will cost $37-$52 CAD each way. Even after bag fees, this is still an excellent price for nonstop travel from Alberta to Florida.

Austin - San Juan $255 Roundtrip for Winter Travel
No passport required for this Caribbean getaway. Fly from Austin to San Juan for $255 roundtrip on American or United. Travel on scattered dates in February/early March. Fly nonstop from Boston to London-Heathrow (LHR) for $368 roundtrip on Virgin Atlantic or Delta. This is a great price on legacy carriers competing with low-cost service on Norwegian from Boston to London-Gatwick (LGW). Since prices are similar, I would recommend flying into the more convenient Heathrow airport and enjoy a standard onboard experience on Delta or Virgin Atlantic. This price is for Basic Economy so there will be a $60 fee each way for a checked bag. I found seats departing Boston BOS on Wednesday, April 3, returning from London LHR on Wednesday, April 10. Other dates for this price can be found for travel through mid-May, with a 28-day advanced purchase and a 7-night minimum stay required. Travel to London Sundays through Wednesdays, and return from London Tuesdays through Fridays.
