Some of these airfares are a part of ongoing sales, and some are unadvertised deals that may only last for a limited time. If any of these fares grab your attention, we recommend you book quickly to avoid missing out on a bargain buy.

New York – Amsterdam $260 Roundtrip on Norwegian

Here’s a fantastic nonstop flight deal from Norwegian, fly from New York-JFK to Amsterdam for $260 roundtrip this winter. Flights are available daily starting in mid-January through the end of March. One-way flights are only 129 dollars for the LowFare option. For a sample travel date listing, I was able to find seats departing JFK on Thursday, March 14 and returning from AMS on Monday, March 18, 2019.

Denver – Philadelphia $118 Roundtrip on Southwest

Travel nonstop from Denver to Philadelphia or vice-versa for $118 roundtrip on Southwest this winter. Departures are available any day of the week starting in early January through select days in early April. You can even use this fare for a weekend getaway since flights are available on Friday and Sunday departures like this deal I found departing DEN on Friday, February 1 and returning from PHL on Sunday, February 3, 2019. As always, Southwest fares must be purchased directly on Southwest.com or by phone.

Houston – Las Vegas $97 Roundtrip on United

Feeling lucky today? Then place your bets on this great fare from United Airlines. Travel from Houston-IAH to Las Vegas for just $97 roundtrip this winter. Tickets at this price can be found on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in mid-January through March 6, 2019. Other days of the week are available for travel for a few dollars more like a departure on a Thursday or a return on select Saturdays. This is a United basic economy fare, which will only allow for a personal item on board. If you require more baggage, standard economy is available for $157 roundtrip – which is the equivalent price of checking a bag roundtrip. To avoid baggage charges consider signing up for an airline-branded credit card that waives those pesky fees. Searching on United's site, I was able to find seats at this price departing IAH on Tuesday, January 15 and returning from LAS on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

Chicago – Quito $412 Roundtrip on Copa Airlines

Need an escape from the wind chill coming off Lake Michigan? How about heading to South America for a sunny getaway. Fly from Chicago-ORD to Quito, Ecuador for $412 roundtrip on Copa Airlines this winter or spring. This deal has a pretty large travel window from early January through mid-June with departures valid any day of the week. Aeromexico might have a few dates with a slightly cheaper fare, but those itineraries will require longer layovers, so Copa will probably be the best option since it has multiple flights per day. As an example, I found tickets at this price departing ORD on Friday, February 8 and returning from UIO on Sunday, February 17, 2019.

Boston – Kona $508 Roundtrip on United Airlines

Here’s another option for a warm weather getaway from the frigid digits in Boston this winter. Fly from Boston to Kona, Hawaii for $508 roundtrip on United Airlines through March 7th. Travel is valid for travel Sunday through Thursday beginning in early January. While Honolulu and Maui are usually where most visitors head to on the archipelago, you'll find that Kona on the Big Island has all activities and experiences you'll need for a perfect Hawaiian holiday. Searching on United, I saw tickets departing BOS on Monday, February 18 and returning from KOA on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Which spans over school vacation week but with a couple of extra days tacked on.

Washington DC – Toronto $193 Roundtrip on Air Canada or American

Here’s a great deal on weekend city break or a longer trip if needed. Fly nonstop from Washington DC-DCA to Toronto-YYZ for $193 roundtrip this winter. Flights are available daily from January 8 through February 13, 2019. American and Air Canada are matching prices, so you'll have your pick of carrier and departure times that best suit your schedule. On Air Canada for example, I found seats available departing DCA on Friday, January 25 and returning from YYZ on Sunday, January 27, 2019. A great deal for an impromptu weekend getaway.

Seattle – Puerto Vallarta $262 Roundtrip on Delta

Fly south of the border from Seattle to Puerto Vallarta for $262 roundtrip, nonstop on Delta Air Lines. Flights are available on select Monday, Wednesday, and Saturdays through the middle of March. You'll have to be flexible with travel dates, but if you are willing to have a connection on one the legs of your itinerary, you'll have more options. On Delta's site, I found seats available leaving SEA on Wednesday, February 6 and returning from PVR on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

Raleigh – San Francisco $197 Roundtrip on Alaska

From Alaska’s latest web deals, fly nonstop from Raleigh to San Francisco for $197 roundtrip, or 99 one-way. Departures are valid for travel on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays from early January through June 12, 2019. If interested, you’ll have to book by the end of tonight so don’t miss out. On Alaska’s website, I was able to find an itinerary leaving RDU on Wednesday, May 22 and returning from SFO on Tuesday, May 28, 2019. Other dates are widely available.

Miami – Recife $341 Roundtrip on LATAM Brasil

Here’s an incredible fare for flights to Brazil. Fly from Miami to Recife for $341 roundtrip on LATAM this winter and spring. Trips at this price point are available on select dates starting in January through the middle of June. In most cases, you should be able to find a nonstop flight on one leg of the journey, but the other will require a stopover. Sometimes this is an extended stopover or an overnight, but those can be avoided if you are flexible with your travel dates. Play around with your travel calendar and see what works for your needs. I found tickets at this price, departing MIA on Monday, April 8 and returning from REC on Thursday, April 18, 2019.

Well, almost year-round, peak summer dates in July and early August are blacked out but other than that this flight deal is wide open. Flights are valid for daily travel with no minimum stay required. For example, I found tickets departing DTW on Saturday, September 21 and returning from ANC on Saturday, September 28, 2019.
