Yesterday, Southwest extended its booking schedule through August 5, 2019, which means you can now book your summer trip on Southwest. Along with the schedule extension, Southwest has added new flights to/from Nashville and also increased flights on some current routes. Southwest has also added a few other nonstop flights around the country and to the Caribbean.

New Southwest Flights to/from Nashville, California, and Texas

The new service announced yesterday will commence in June 2019. There are a few good intro fares on some of the routes, but since these flights will be introduced for the peak summer travel season, connecting flights for winter/spring travel may still be cheaper.

These fares are not advertised with an expiration date and are subject to change at any time.

As an example booking, I found seats departing Burbank BUR on Wednesday, June 12, returning from Nashville BNA on Tuesday, June 18, for $218 roundtrip. These flights would allow you to attend the Bonnaroo Music Festival, which takes place June 13-16, 2019.
