It appears that Frontier's massive expansion this spring was a bit too ambitious. They will discontinue service on 5 routes in early July, which began service just last month. Along with this news, they are also having a $39 round-trip sale for travel this spring on around 50 routes (counting both directions).

Following are the nonstop routes being discontinued during the first week of July and the current lowest available fare on each route. Take advantage of these great fares while you still can!

Service ending July 4, 2018

Birmingham to Philadelphia $39 round-trip

Minneapolis to Long Island-Islip $53 round-trip

Providence to Austin $77 round-trip

Service ending July 5, 2018

Detroit to Long Island-Islip $49 round-trip

Atlanta to Providence $67 round-trip

Frontier also has a spring sale with around 50 routes (counting both directions) at just $39 round-trip. Availability is limited so you must be somewhat flexible to find the lowest price. Travel days will vary by route, but fares are generally available for travel through June 6, with a 3-day advance purchase required. Many routes have limited frequencies so be sure to check out the specifics in the fare details on your route.

Tickets must be booked by 11:59 pm ET on May 9, 2018, or before seats sell out.
