JetBlue has extended their booking schedule, which means you can now book jetBlue flights for winter holiday travel through January 7th, 2019.

If you're a jetBlue flyer who likes to hammer down your holiday travel plans early, have a look at what's available for Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's travel. Most routes are initially priced quite high for holiday travel, but you may find a few exceptions.

I'm currently seeing nonstop flights from Buffalo to Los Angeles available for $336 round-trip for Thanksgiving travel, departing Wednesday, November 25, and returning Monday, November 26. Although this is high compared to off-peak travel, it's a decent price for Thanksgiving travel.

Schedule extentions usually come along with new route announcements. I'm not seeing any new routes announced yet, but there may be some in the works to be announced in coming weeks. Two previously announced new domestic flights are set to begin in May.

Service between Worcester and New York begins May 2, with excellent prices all the way through the end of schedule, including peak summer and peak holiday travel. Service between Boston and Minneapolis begins May 3, with super low fares for spring travel and relatively great prices for summer travel.

New domestic routes starting in May: (Fares work in reverse direction as well)

Worcester to New York $72 round-trip, nonstop, for spring travel ($92 round-trip for peak summer / $122-$132 round-trip for peak holiday travel)

Boston to Minneapolis $87 round-trip, nonstop, for May travel ($147 round-trip for peak summer)

Comparitively, if you're searching a flight from Boston to New York for peak Thanksgiving travel dates, you'll find much higher prices than flying from Worcester. Currently, the lowest available fare departing Boston BOS on Wednesday, November 21, returning from New York JFK on Sunday, November 25 is $373 round-trip.

Flying those same dates from Worcester to New York is only $132 round-trip. However, if you're not dead set on jetBlue, you can currently find flights from Boston to New York LGA on those same dates for $167 round-trip on Delta.
