Day 16 features one of the most popular cities in the world. That's right, Paris, France is featured today in Scandinavian Airlines' "24 Days of Christmas" holiday sale. France's capital and largest city is considered by travel experts year after year as one of the top destinations to visit. With a population of 12 million, Paris offers tourists a diverse city filled with top notch entertainment, restaurants, hotels and shopping.

You have until midnight tonight to purchase these sales prices. Now although they lowered their prices for the next 24 hours, SAS still does not seem to compare with the likes of Continental and Aer Lingus when it comes to flying to the city of lights. This is the third day out of sixteen so far that Scandinavian Airlines did NOT have the better deals over the competition.

Here are some sample fares I found on their website (Round trip with taxes and fees included). In parenthesis are the competitor's prices.

**Thu Feb 12 - Thu Feb 19: Washington (IAD), $857 w. 1 layover (Air France $717 nonstop)

**Fri Feb 27 - Fri Mar 06: Seattle (SEA), $875 w. 1 layover (Continental $673 w. 1 layover)

**Tue Mar 24 - Tue Mar 31: Chicago (ORD), $733 w. 1 layover (Aer Lingus $690 w. 1 layover)

**Tue May 05 - Tue May 12: Newark (EWR), $732 w. 1 layover (Aer Lingus New York (JFK) $779 w. 1 layover)

You must book by tonight to lock in these prices. To receive these advertised fares, you must travel between December 26, 2008 and May 14, 2009. Blackout dates are April 2, 2009 and April 19, 2009. For more information about these fares and other, go to Scandinavian Airlines.
