Travel Availability
The sale is advertised to take $100 off roundtrip flights from August 1 through October 31, 2019. The lowest fares on most routes are available in September and October, though there are some which may have low fares in late August as well.
Only select routes are included in this sale, but it covers a wide range of Aer Lingus routes between North American and Europe. A Saturday night stay is required for the lowest fares.
Some markets are only operated on limited days of the week.

Baggage
Flights to Ireland are Saver fares and only include a carry-on bag plus a personal item. It's cheaper to upgrade the fare to a Smart fare for $40 each way than adding a checked bag a la carte.
Flights to other European cities outside of Ireland are Smart fares, which include a carry-on bag, a personal item, and one free checked bag,
Seat Assignments
For Saver fares to Ireland, seats will be assigned at random upon check-in for these prices. You may be able to pay a fee to choose a specific seat.
For Smart fares to the rest of Europe, advanced seat assignments are included.
Alternate Fares
The upgrade from a Saver fare to a Smart fare on flights to Ireland is $80 roundtrip. This includes one free checked bag and advanced seat assignments. You may find similar fares on other carriers in Basic Economy, which will only include carry-on bags. Aer Lingus' Smart fares to Europe are a real deal compared to standard Economy fares on other carriers.
