Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer and while you can’t expect to see fares as low as off-peak travel times purchased in advance, these last-minute flights are all decent deals taking into consideration that this peak holiday weekend is just a few days away. Check out these 10 Memorial Day Weekend travel deals including what to do and where to stay once you get there.

Note: Fares are subject to change at any time and these prices may sell out very quickly. You’ll have to be flexible with travel dates to get the best deals. Some of these fares are on ultra-low-cost carriers, but you’ll still save money even after adding in baggage fees. Travel light for a quick weekend getaway and save even more.

Minneapolis - Las Vegas $307 Roundtrip, Nonstop, on Delta

I found seats for Labor Day Weekend travel departing Minneapolis MSP on Friday, May 24, returning from Las Vegas LAS on Tuesday, May 28. A carry-on bag and a personal item are included in this Basic Economy fare, but you will not be able to choose a seat assignment in advance. A checked bag costs $30 each way.

It’s slightly cheaper on Spirit or Sun Country if you depart on Saturday. Keep in mind both Sun Country and Spirit charge for full-size carry-on bags.

What to do: Vegas invites you to pay your respects by celebrating the freedoms our fallen soldiers fought for. Along with nightly shows, there are plenty of pool parties to attend with top DJs such as David Guetta, The Chainsmokers, and Kaskade.

Where to stay: Splurge on a room at the Bellagio Las Vegas and enjoy 5-star service with exquisite décor.

Orlando – Raleigh $92 Roundtrip, Nonstop, on Spirit

Frontier has similar fares and fees, but Delta is charging more $500 for these dates. You’ll save big by flying Spirit and just adding any necessary baggage.

What to do: Attend the annual Memorial Day Remembrance at Bennet Place State Historic Site in Durham. It’s held both Saturday, May 25, and Sunday, May 26, starting at 10am. In Chapel Hill, listen to live music, indulge in food trucks, shop at a punk rock flea market, or partake in other activities such as jousting or a dunk tank at Jaws Fest. Of course, the classic movie Jaws will also be shown on the big screen.

Where to stay: The Hampton Inn & Suites Raleigh Downtown is right in the middle of the action and has some of the best reviews in the area. You can expect all the modern amenities here including a gym and an indoor pool.

Cleveland – Ft. Lauderdale $334 Roundtrip, Nonstop, on JetBlue

If you’re looking to book a last-minute trip to Miami, you may want to check on flights to Ft. Lauderdale instead. Fly nonstop from Cleveland to Ft. Lauderdale for $334 roundtrip on JetBlue. I found seats departing Cleveland CLE on Friday, May 24, returning from Ft. Lauderdale FLL on Tuesday, May 28. It’s slightly cheaper if you book separate one-way flights in each direction and return on Delta with a connection in Atlanta.

What to do: It’s a big party weekend in Miami with many concerts, pool parties, and boat parties. There’s also a comedy festival and a KidzFest if you have the little ones in tow.

Where to stay: Book a room at the Impala Hotel in South Beach to be in the middle of everything for a relatively good price. It’s also pet-friendly if you want to bring your furry friend along.

Atlanta – Orlando $256 Roundtrip, Nonstop, on Delta

Where to stay: If you want some extra space, book a suite at Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando Theme Parks. You’ll be centrally located and that separate room between you and the kids will help everyone sleep better.

New York – Madrid $444 Roundtrip, Nonstop, on Iberia

Why not head to Europe for long weekend break? Fly nonstop from New York to Madrid for $444 roundtrip on Iberia. Depart New York JFK on Saturday, May 25, for this price. Return from Madrid MAD on Tuesday, May 28, for a quick weekend getaway or choose from many other return dates if you want to take a longer trip.
