Head to Hollywood with this nonstop deal departing Philadelphia to Los Angeles for $198 roundtrip on Alaska Airlines for late summer and fall. For those in the SoCal looking for ring the bell on a deal to Philly, this fare also works in reverse at the same price.

Travel Availability

As an example, I found seats departing PHL on Saturday, October 5, and returning from LAX on Sunday, October 13, 2019.

Travel days will vary by week, but you'll find the most inventory departing midweek – the elusive Friday and Sunday departure/return dates do exist, but are very scarce. This fare starts to pop up in late August with departures valid through November, returns in early December available.

Travel is blacked out during peak holidays periods like Labor Day and Thanksgiving.

Saver fares only include one small personal item and one standard piece of carry-on baggage. Checked bag fees start at $30 each way.

Seat Assignments

Saver Fares allow for limited seat selection in the back of the aircraft. However, finding seats next to a travel partner may be difficult on some routes. If you choose not to select a seat one will be assigned to you during check-in.

Alternate Fares

Alaska's Main fares are usually around $15-$30 more each way and include a larger selection of seats to choose from and allow ticket changes/upgrades for a fee. Checked bag fees are the same $30 each way. American Airline's nonstop option on this city-to-city pair is $120 more at $319 roundtrip.
