Earlier this month Hawaiian Airlines launched the country's longest nonstop domestic flight, connecting its home base of Honolulu with Boston. While the epic 11 hours 30-minute flight from Boston isn't for everyone's legs, linking both destinations together for only $598 roundtrip is much easier on everyone's wallet compared to previous prices and extended layover options between the two airports.

Travel Availability

Searching on Hawaiian's site, I found tickets departing BOS on Tuesday, November 19, and returning from HNL on Monday, November 25, 2019. Perfect timing if you want a getaway for Thanksgiving and switch the turkey for some tuna steaks.

Departures are available on Mondays and Tuesdays with returns open on Mondays and Thursdays from late August through December 12, 2019. Scattered spring dates available for just a couple dollars more.

Baggage

This Main Cabin fare includes one carry-on bag plus one personal item. A checked bag costs $30 each way.

Seat Assignments

Standard advanced seat selection is included in this price.

Alternate Fares

Different carriers like Delta, American, and Alaska are offering similar prices on this route. However, many of them will require long layover and book into basic economy fare buckets, meaning no seat selection and other restrictions. Hawaiian Airlines offers better service and has the lowest price on many of the dates in the listed travel period.
