Fly nonstop from Minneapolis to Chicago for $108 roundtrip on Southwest. If you're in the Windy City and want to check out the Twin Cities, this fare also works from Chicago to Minneapolis.

Travel Availability

Searching Southwest, I found seats departing Minneapolis MSP on Saturday, April 20, returning from Chicago MDW on Tuesday, April 23.

Other dates are also available for travel from late April through mid-June.

Baggage

This fare includes a carry-on bag, a personal item, and two free checked bags.

Seat Assignments

Southwest has an open seating policy, which means there are no assigned seats and you'll get to choose your seat during boarding. The order of boarding is determined by the time of check-in so check-in exactly 24 hours before departure or pay for priority boarding for a better choice of seat.

Alternate Fares

Delta has a similar $107 roundtrip fare between Minneapolis and Chicago-Midway and all three major carriers (American, Delta, and United) have the same $107 roundtrip fare to Chicago-O'hare, while Sun Country has a slightly lower $97 roundtrip fare. All of these fares are available for travel through early September and are Basic Economy, which has more restrictions than Southwest's fare.
