Book that bucket list safari with this fantastic fare deal from five-star Qatar Airways. Fly from Boston to Johannesburg, South Africa for $659 roundtrip this spring or fall.

Travel Availability

Searching Qatar's website, I found seats departing Boston BOS on Monday, September 16, with return flights leaving from Johannesburg on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Spring travel is scarce, but limited availability can be found on select Sundays through Wednesdays in April and May. The bulk seat inventory can be found starting in September through the end of November, with returns flights possible through December 25, 2019. A 7-day minimum stay is required.

Baggage

This Economy fare includes 2 pieces of checked luggage, each not to exceed 23kg/50 lbs. Standard carry-on luggage must not exceed 7kg/15lbs.

Seat Assignments

You may choose your own assignments from standard economy class seats that are still available during or after booking.

Alternate Fares

Virgin Atlantic is offering fares for $717 roundtrip on similar dates between these two airports. Itineraries route through London (LHR) and are available on other departure days of the week.

Long Layovers

Most long layovers can be avoided, and I was able to find many trips with short connections such as the sample dates listed above. But you should take note that on some itineraries an extended daytime stopover in Doha (DOH) may be required. Qatar offers city tours at low prices, and some layovers may even qualify for a free hotel stay. Make the best of it and treat it as a 2-for-1 deal!
