We're seeing great deals to Milan (MXP) for around $475 roundtrip from nearly every airport in the U.S. that has service on American Airlines. Flights to other cities in Italy are available from many U.S. cities in the low $500s and start from as little as $347 roundtrip.
Update February 6, 9:25am: Delta has now matched this sale from nearly every airport in the U.S.

This is just a small sample of routes. As this is nearly nationwide, make sure to check flights from your city, even if it isn't listed. Search to any city in Italy and you'll likely find a really good price for travel dates in February/March that follow the rules listed above.
Some routes may require a longer daytime layover in Miami. Need tips for a long layover? Click here.

This is a Basic Economy fare, which only includes carry-on bags and does not include advanced seat selection. A Main Cabin Economy fare is much more expensive (over $1000) on these dates so I would recommend buying a basic ticket and paying $60 each way for a checked bag, if necessary.
