Switzerland isn't really known for being a budget-friendly destination, yet fares to Zurich remain consistently low.
On Icelandair, we found seats for $341 roundtrip, departing JFK on Sunday, March 3, returning from ZRH on Monday, March 11. Flights connect via Reykjavik.
This is in Icelandair's version of basic economy, known as Economy Light, and includes carry on baggage only. That's often enough for many travelers, but if you really must check a bag, regular economy will cost you $441 for these dates.
Other dates are also available for travel from January through March.
