While it's technically springtime in Straya, flag carrier Qantas has decided it's time to put out Fall Flash Sale for us in America. This sale features all Qantas operated flights from the U.S. to Australia's three biggest cities – Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane starting at $697 roundtrip.

Each route has varying departure dates, but most inventory is available starting in early February through the end of June, then again from late July through the middle of September 2019. I was also able to find dates beyond that into October, so it's worthwhile to have a second look to see what else is open if your travel needs fall outside of the sale window.  Departures are available Monday through Thursday, and a 5-day minimum stay is required (not that you'd fly all that way for less than a week). If Australia is one of your bucket-list destinations then now's a good time to book that dream trip mate!

You'll have until midnight PT on November 19, 2018, to get your plans ready and book these fantastic fares Down Under.

Sale routes include:

Los Angeles to Melbourne $698 roundtrip, nonstop

San Francisco to Melbourne $698 roundtrip, nonstop

Los Angeles to Brisbane $708 roundtrip, nonstop

Los Angeles to Sydney $710 roundtrip, nonstop

As an example, I found seats departing LAX on Tuesday, April 2 and returning from MEL on Monday, April 15, 2019. Other dates are easy to find if searching within the sale parameters. If you don't live in one of the listed departure cities, we are seeing other great deal to Sydney (SYD), Melbourne (MEL), and Brisbane (BNE) on other airlines and markets marked down as well.
