You can fly to Florida and elsewhere around the U.S. for only $10 or $15 one-way. Frontier has dropped around 30 routes (counting both directions) to just a penny plus taxes. The breakdown actually shows a $0 airfare. After taxes, fares start at just $24 roundtrip. Flights are only $15 one-way from most cities, and due to lower airport taxes, flights from Greenville go as low as $10 one-way.

Availability is limited so you must be somewhat flexible to find the lowest price. Travel days will vary by route, but these rock-bottom fares are generally available starting after Thanksgiving, for travel through mid-December or early February. Blackout dates apply: December 21-22, 26-27, 30, 2018; January 1-2, 2019. Many routes have limited frequencies so be sure to check out the specifics in the fare details on your route.

As you can see in the screenshot below, these are essentially FREE airfares. You are only paying mandatory taxes and fees. Frontier even eliminated the online booking fee for these fares so this is the absolute lowest price you can get on these flights. Bag fees are extra unless you can travel with just a small backpack.

In addition to these "penny fares", Frontier has hundreds of other routes priced under $100 roundtrip.

As an example booking, I found seats departing Orlando MCO on Friday, January 25, returning from Atlanta ATL on Monday, January 28, for $29 roundtrip. Perfect to get away for a weekend in January. For more weekend travel deals, make sure to check out our new Weekender search tool.
