These deals are all at prices below what we normally see. Some of these fares are a part of ongoing sales and some are unadvertised, which may only last a few hours. If you are interested in any of these fares, we recommend you book soon to avoid a missed bargain. All domestic fares work in the reverse direction as well.
Frontier seems to come out with these ultra-low fare sales nearly every week now. While we see a lot of the same routes included each week, there are always a few routes that only drop this low once in a while. Nonstop flights from St. Louis to Jacksonville for $39 roundtrip is an incredible price, which we don't see included in these sales very often. Travel to Florida on Mondays, and from Florida on Fridays, between late November and early February.
I found seats departing St. Louis STL on Monday, January 7, returning from Jacksonville JAX on Friday, January 11. Frontier's fares only include a small personal item. A checked bag costs $30 each way. Larger carry-on bags cost $35 each way. Book soon! This sale ends tonight.
Here's a great fare to fly up Idaho for the winter ski season. Fly nonstop from Phoenix to Boise for $98 roundtrip on American. Tacos, tequila, and Terrific beaches await in Mexico's Caribbean hot spot. Fly nonstop from Chicago to Cancun for $172 roundtrip on American. Fly nonstop from San Francisco to Orlando for $217 roundtrip on Alaska or United. Beware of United's Basic Economy fare, which is the most restrictive of the major airlines since it only includes a small personal item. Alaska is the better choice if you are not a United loyalist. Another great fare to Mexico. This one is for the west coast and includes two free checked bags. Fly nonstop from Oakland to Puerto Vallarta for $236 roundtrip on Southwest. Travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from January through early March. This price is only available on a couple dates for nonstop travel. More availability for a few dollars more if you make a connection on the outbound flight. I found nonstop flights departing Oakland OAK on Wednesday, February 27, returning from Puerto Vallarta PVR on Wednesday, March 6.
Fly nonstop from Orlando to Bogota for $237 roundtrip on JetBlue. This route is getting cheaper thanks to new service on Spirit Airlines, which begins tomorrow. Of course, Spirit has a lower $191 roundtrip fare for fall/winter travel, but you'll pay more if you have to bring anything larger than a small personal item on Spirit. JetBlue includes carry-on bags, but there is a $30 each way charge for checked bags. If you need to bring a lot of luggage, you can try a connecting flight on Copa Airlines for $209 roundtrip with two free checked bags included.
Overall, I think JetBlue is the best option for nonstop service and amenities. I found seats departing Orlando MCO on Friday, February 22, returning from Bogota on Friday, March 1. Other dates are available in late February/early March. For more tips on flying JetBlue, read our new guide on How to Fly JetBlue.
