This week's Southwest Airlines sale is valid for travel through May. Although these prices have been available for spring travel over the past few weeks, this is the first time this season that we've seen Southwest advertise its sale for spring travel. Book soon to make sure you get the flights you want. Fares start at $98 roundtrip.
As always, pack all you want because Southwest still allows two free checked bags, while the other airlines have upped bag fees to $30 each way. If you're indecisive, there's less to worry about with Southwest's no change fee policy. Learn more about Southwest's perks in our guide on How to Fly Southwest Airlines (And Get the Seat You Want).
On most domestic routes, sale fares are available for travel on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, through May 22, 2019, with a 14-day advanced purchase required. Travel to Florida and Nevada is valid Sundays through Wednesdays, while travel from Florida and Nevada is valid Tuesdays through Fridays.
As expected, peak holiday flights are blacked out on November 20-21, November 24-26, December 21-23, December 26-27, December 29-30, 2018; January 1-2, 2019.
