It's been quite a week for airfare to Europe. To combat the ever-growing low-cost airlines crossing the Atlantic, the legacy carriers are slashing prices on flights to Europe. Nonstop flights to Paris are as low as $447 roundtrip on airlines like Air France, American, Delta, and United. Connecting flights on American are also super cheap from certain hub cities to France, Italy, and Holland. Flights to Amsterdam are as low as $425 roundtrip for year-round travel.
Update September 13, 10am ET: This sale is no longer available for year-round travel. You'll still find similar fares available some months between October and May. A few routes may only have the lowest fares available in late January/early February.
Travel dates for the nonstop flights to Paris vary by route. Some are valid from late October through March, while a few are only available for late January/early February travel. Click on the fare details below for more info.
Nonstop flights to Paris book into Basic Economy so they only include carry-on luggage. If you need to check a bag, opt to pay for the regular economy fare, which may only be slightly higher in price or at most usually $90 more.
The connecting flights on American Airlines from Delta hub cities to Amsterdam (AMS), Milan (MXP), Rome (FCO), Paris (CDG), and Venice (VCE) are valid for year-round travel, excluding holidays. You can find travel dates available any day of the week and may even find some of these fares for peak summer 2019 travel. A 14-day advance purchase and a Saturday night stay are required.
Best of all, these connecting flights on American book into Main Cabin Economy and include one free checked bag.
