The Best Amazon Prime Day Benefits for Travelers

Another Amazon Prime Day is upon us, and there are sure to be plenty of deals for travelers. We’ve got the lowdown on the best deals for globetrotters.

Savings for the Traveler on Prime Day

First off, and I know this may come as a surprise, but, you need to be a Prime member. Okay, fine, probably not that big of a surprise. You can sign up here. Annual memberships are $119, with annual student memberships available for $59. If you don’t want to commit to a year, monthly memberships are $12.99, or $6.49 for students.

Next, download the amazon app. If you don’t already have it, you’ll get $10 just for signing in for the first time on your phone. This way, you’ll be able to get updates on the deals.

Once you have the app, sign up for notifications. Amazon has a handy step-by-step guide here.  When you do this, as soon as an item is announced, you’ll be the first to know.

Now it’s time to hunker down and get ready for a whirlwind day of shopping. You’re best bet is to plan ahead, and maybe don’t schedule any meetings for July 17 (or the afternoon of the 16th). You can take a look at Amazon’s guide here

To gear up for the 17th, Amazon has some deals already on. Here are some deals I think are great for travelers, available now.
