Icelandair thinks you should "fall" for a little color and culture with its latest on some European city breaks. Thirteen is the lucky number because this sale is available from 13 US airports via the airline's homebase of Reykjavik onward to 13 European destinations. Flights to Scandinavia are the cheapest, starting at $300 round-trip, but other sub-$350 flights are available connecting to Paris, Amsterdam, and London.
Travel periods vary by departure city and destination, but you'll have the most luck finding these sale prices for departures from early October through December 18, 2018. If you'd prefer to travel in September most of these airfares are available for about $11 more. That's a bargain for late summer travel. In the fare details pages, you will find more information on each specific route. Fares at these prices require a Saturday night stay. Using third-party booking sites, you can also find prices to some of the UK destinations even cheaper, but they will require an overnight in Reykjavik.
Please take notice that all fares listed are for Icelandair's Economy Light fare, which only includes a standard sized carry-on bag plus one personal item. If booking on Icelandair.com, you can get a 20% discount on checked baggage fees during or after booking. Online checked baggage fees start at $55 each way for flights terminating in Iceland and $76 each way for flights to mainland Europe and UK. Higher fees apply at the airport.
