Icelandair wants you to add a little bit of color to your fall travels with some city lights and Northern Lights. Offering sale prices from seven US airports to its home base of Reykjavik and onward to seven European destinations. Nonstop flights to Reykjavik are the cheapest, starting at $329 round-trip, but other sub-$400 flights are available connecting to Paris, Amsterdam, and Scandinavia.
Travel periods vary by departure city and destination; mostly you will find these sale prices for departures in the month of October. Flights from the US must begin before October 31, 2018, but returns flights will be available through the end of November. If you'd prefer to travel from the end of August through September most of these fares are available for about $10 more, that's a bargain for late summer travel. In the fare details pages, you will find more information on each specific route. Most require a 7-night stay, but there are some that only require a Saturday night stay to book-in the sale price listed.
Please take notice that all fares listed are for Icelandair's Economy Light fare, which only includes a standard sized carry-on bag plus one personal item. If booking on Icelandair.com, you can get a 20% discount on checked baggage fees during or after booking. Online checked baggage fees start at $55 each way for flights terminating in Iceland and $76 each way for flights to mainland Europe and UK. Higher fees apply at the airport.
