Peak Summer flights are available for only $526 on a few dates in mid-June and others in late July, if you return in late August. Delta and Virgin only fly this route nonstop on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays and a 7-day stay is required for this fare.

Searching on the Delta site I was able to find flights departing SFO on Tuesday, August 7, and returning from MAN on Friday, August 24, 2018. There are other dates available in August at this price but your best luck for availability will be in September and October.
