This week Delta Airlines didn't come out with their usual Weekend Sale but instead have posted a small Summer Sale on select routes. While we've seen better sales in the past this is still quite reasonable for peak Summer fares.

Travel is available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from May 1, through August 28, 2018. In some cases, you might be able to find an even cheaper price than the listed sale price on a few city pairings. These fares will require a Saturday night stay and book into Delta Basic Economy, leaving you with a standard carry-on but no ability to select your seats ahead of time. Blackout dates on July 3 & 4 are imposed on all routes.

If you are thinking about a Summer Holiday to any of these destinations, tickets must be purchased by April 10, 2018.

Sample nonstop sale fares include:

Boston to Pittsburgh $138 round-trip

Nashville to Raleigh-Durham $138 round-trip

Norfolk to Boston $158 round-trip

Boston to Buffalo $158 round-trip

Los Angeles to Albuquerque $179 round-trip
