Searching Aeromexico, we found seats departing Los Angeles LAX on Friday, March 9, returning from Guadalajara GDL on Monday, March 12. Other dates are available for March travel.

This is now a highly competitive market with all three Mexican discount airlines, Interjet, Volaris, and VivaAerobus, flying this route along with mainstays Aeromexico and Alaska Airlines. The discount airlines all have different limits on luggage and a most have a shorter seat pitch than the majors.

Aeromexico has been competing with lower fares lately, but this is the first we've seen it dip below $200 round-trip on one of the legacy carriers in a while. This price will include the normal amount of carry-on luggage plus one personal item.
