Delta is repainting Northwest's 16 Boeing 747's in new colors. However, the planes will be flown by Northwest crew for the time being until the two airlines can merge their FAA operating certificates. More importantly for airfares, a number of cities or routes primarily served by Northwest and Delta will probably see some fare hikes.
