The latest promo code sale on Volaris is valid for travel throughout the entire year. It's advertised to take 70% off the base fare for travel through October 2019. We're finding nonstop flights to Guatemala and El Salvador for around $223 roundtrip.
One-stop flights to Costa Rica are going for $243 roundtrip. Flights to Mexico are as low as $187 roundtrip, but these flights are barely discounted or not discounted at all on most flights to Mexico. The best deals (biggest price drops) in this sale are the routes to Central America, which is what I'll highlight below.
Volaris is a low-cost Mexican airline but has a baggage policy that is similar to the major U.S. airlines. Surprisingly, you're allowed to bring two full-size carry-on bags, but there is a combined weight limit of 22 lbs. total. Extra weight allowance for your carry-on bags can be purchased starting at $24 each way. Checked bag fees start at $35 each way.
