Skyteam members Delta, KLM, and Air France, are still rolling out great deals on flights to Europe. While we see Amsterdam (AMS), Paris (CDG), and Rome (FCO) on sale regularly, deals to destinations in Eastern Europe are often harder to come by. But here's a great deal to Ukraine, with fares to Kiev starting at just $486 roundtrip from the East Coast and in the low $500's for other U.S. cities.

The best part of these fares is that they are available daily and include one piece of free checked luggage. Once a given, now many carriers are charging $60 one-way for checked bags. 

Flights at these unadvertised sale prices start in early November with travel through the end of March. Peak holiday travel is blacked out, and there is a 7-day minimum stay requirement. 

Depending on flight selection, you can build in an overnight layover in Paris or Amsterdam if you want to make this trip into a 2-for-1 deal. If not, then many of these flight times work out well and there are reasonable layover windows.
