American has lowered fares to Rome in response to the systemwide Europe sale on Delta. If you don't mind taking a connecting flight, you can save big by flying on American from New York to Rome.

I found seats departing New York JFK on Monday, April 1, returning from Rome FCO on Monday, April 8.

Other dates are also available for travel on scattered dates November through late March, with more availability for daily travel from late March through mid-May. A minimum stay of one week is required.

See our fare details for booking info.

This is a Basic Economy fare, which only includes carry-on bags and doesn't allow advanced seat selection or ticket changes. If you need to bring a checked bag, it costs $60 more each way. The upgrade to Main Cabin is around $230 more so it is cheaper to book this fare and pay the bag fee if you only need to check one bag and don't mind getting an auto-assigned seat for free.
