Canada's newest ultra-low-cost carrier Swoop has added a flight to the Caribbean. Flights from Hamilton to Montego Bay will begin in December and intro fares are as low as $292 CAD roundtrip. Swoop also has a seat sale on all of its routes. Fares start at just $48 CAD roundtrip for domestic Canadian flights. Flights between the US and Canada start at $115 USD roundtrip.
Swoop to Fly from Canada to Jamaica
New service from Hamilton (YHM) to Montego Bay (MBJ) begins December 16, 2018. Flights will operate on Sundays and Wednesdays. The intro fare can be purchased one-way for just $149 CAD or $292 CAD roundtrip.
The intro sale to Jamaica is valid for travel in January and February. It's limited to just 200 seats so book quickly to get this price. Sale ends September 18, 2018, or while supplies last.

Flights between the US and Canada are valid for travel through mid-December, and again in late January/early February. All fares are nonstop. Prices were found on Swoop's website in CAD and converted to USD for comparison purposes on Airfarewatchdog. Domestic Canadian fares are mostly the same in the reverse direction. Some routes may vary slightly depending on city of origin. Cross-border routes tend to have a greater variance in pricing depending on city of origin.
As with other ultra-low-cost carriers, the base fare will only include transportation for you and a small personal item such as a small backpack, briefcase, or large purse that will fit underneath the seat in front of you.
Checked bag fees start at $30-$35 CAD when purchased online. Larger carry-on bag fees start at $35-$41 CAD. There are also extra fees if you would like to choose a specific seat and for pretty much anything else such as snacks or beverages onboard.
