It's a Tuesday so that must mean it's time for this week's Southwest Airlines sale. This 3-day Nationwide Seat Sale promotes itself for fall travel but is actually valid from late August through mid-February 2019. These deals are in step with Southwest's usually weekly offerings, but with added service for winter travel and new nonstop options, over 1,200 routes are discounted.

Departures are available for Mondays through Thursday and Saturdays from August 21 through February 13, 2019. As expected peak holiday flights are blacked out on August 31, September 3, November 20-21, November 24-26, December 21-23, December 26-27, December 29-30, 2018; January 1-2, 2019. As always, pack all you want because Southwest still flys two checked bags for free.

All tickets must be booked by Thursday, August 2, 2018, at 11:59 pm.
