Here's a deal you don't see every day. For nearly half the normal rate, you can fly from San Diego to West Yellowstone for $261 roundtrip on Delta. If you live near Yellowstone and want to visit the beaches of Southern California, this fare also works from West Yellowstone to San Diego.

This is part of the Nationwide Delta Sale, which has some big price drops for smaller markets across the USA. Seasonal flights directly to Yellowstone National Park are usually extremely high. With this sale, there are a few select cities where you can fly to West Yellowstone in the $200s roundtrip. Don't delay! This sale ends Sunday, July 15, 2018, and fares will likely double.

For example, I found seats departing San Diego SAN on Saturday, September 1, returning from West Yellowstone WYS on Saturday, September 8. Flights connect in Salt Lake City SLC.

You'll find a few other dates available for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, from August 15 through September 29. You must be flexible with travel dates for this price. Most dates are nearly double in price. A Friday or Saturday night stay is required.
