I just wrote yesterday about Frontier Airlines adding 15 new nonstop routes this August. Well, the airline is expanding again with today's announcement to add 3 new cities to its route map. Starting this fall, look for Frontier flights to and from Albany, Greenville, and Bloomington. Intro fares start at just $62 roundtrip.

Frontier Announces New Service for Albany, Greenville, and Bloomington

Frontier has begun selling seats on a total of 7 nonstop routes to and from these new cities. New service begins in September or early October. Frontier had flown Bloomington - Orlando in the past, but it has been a few years. All other routes are brand new routes for Frontier.

As with most of Frontier's routes, service is very limited and flights are only flown a few times each week. Be sure to click on the fare details for specifics on when these new routes begin and what days of the week these fares are available. I've included the days of the week each route will operate, but the lowest available fare may only be available for Tuesday or Wednesday travel.

Greenville to Las Vegas $132 roundtrip

These fares all work in reverse as well. Frontier will also start flights between Greenville and Tampa this fall, with tickets to go on sale in July.

Earlier this month, Frontier announced plans to expand internationally in Raleigh with flights to Cancun, Montego Bay, and Punta Cana as well as domestic routes between Raleigh and Fort Myers, West Palm Beach, and Phoenix. New Raleigh routes are planned to commence in the winter season. We will keep you posted when tickets go on sale.

Keep in mind that Frontier charges extra for any bags larger than a small personal item (small backpack, purse, etc.). Pack super light to get the lowest price. Checked bag fees start at $25 each way. Larger carry-on bag fees start at $30 each way.
