Q. Why do you bother listing these Ding fares from Southwest when I can't even book them?
A. We list them because you should know about them. And you absolutely can book them if you sign up at southwest.com/ding.
We would be derelict in our duty as consumer watchdogs if we didn't tell you about them. We get paid nothing if you book them, and in fact we'd make more money if we didn't tell you about them and sent you instead to an airline that pays us a commission.
How's that for integrity? Sorry to hear you don't seem pleased.
