My flight was 1.5 hours late leaving Wichita due to a bad hydraulic hose. That used my layover time in Chicago, but I got to the gate for the flight to Milwaukee just as they were boarding. On the return flight, we left MKE when we should have been landing in Chicago. I ran from concourse L2 to concourse G11 and got to the gate as they were closing the door. My boarding pass had to be reissued because they had given my seat away, but at least I was allowed on the plane. The plane was late leaving MKE because the pilot had been issued a set of papers with the wrong name on it and we had to wait for them to be redone.
