Flight 291 May 30 from Dulles to Sacramento. Plane had hydraulic leak and we had to brace for impact and be ready to emergency exit. There is no room to take the "brace position" because the airlines have been allowed to squish so many seats in. The airbus has shown to have many problems and I learned from a passenger that his pilot friends don't want to fly them or ride in them--what does that tell you. Luckily the landing gear did come down but after dumping fuel and riding in terror. I reported it to the FAA and there is no way to follow the investigation. They will only take the report and will not tell you what they find. Why is the public being allowed to fly in planes that prevent you from following the FAA's own safety regulations?
