Nothing spectacular which makes Air Tran a frugal choice. On return trip I could not check in and print boarding pass so I did that at the airport. The only seats left were ones I would have had to pay extra for, but thankfully, the agent a the desk could seat me over the wing for no extra charge. That was positive.

I've flown several times recently, twice on United and once on JetBlue and have somehow lucked out with flights that depart and arrive early and in-flight staff that made the trip enjoyable whether with a sense of humor and/or efficient service. I like JetBlue because you get the extra legroom in economy that you pay for on most other airlines. On my return flight the plane appeared to be fairly new and the seats were comfy. It's hard to beat the option of DirecTv and XM radio to pass the time. JetBlue also lets you check one bag free -- I noticed the difference in overhead bin storage -- there was plenty for me, who prefers in most cases to carry-on my bag. I was pleased with United as well -- when I flew a 50-seater jet that lacked much overhead bin space they were willing to check bags down the jetway and hand them to you as you got off the plane. That's fine with me.

Love the fact that the 1st bags checked are free. This comes in handy while traveling with a four year old!

The check in at Orlando was ridiculous - lines outside and inside - stood in line about 45 minutes. Both flights were on time and the flight staff were polite.

I am a big Southwest Airlines fan, but the crew on my trip home from Dulles really dropped the ball. There was a baby of foreign descent who screamed (literally) the whole flight, and they really didn't do anything about it. They told the passengers (many of us complained) that nothing could be done about it. Many people switched seats in the air once we were allowed to move about the cabin.
